Einaudi to break down barriers

Quebec Week of the intellectual disability

70 students from Lambert Elementary School met with a group of adult students from the Association des personnes handicapées de la Chaudière (APCHC).

It was under the music of the Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi that the students of the APCHC school composed a few stories about intimidation and mutual aid.

They were presented during a meeting with students of the Lambert school on March 14th. The goal of the collaboration was to better understand the lives of people with disabilities.

Aline Carrier, an APCHC group teacher, believes that this meeting was highly appreciated by the two groups that participated. "Yes, we are similar by our differences," she concludes.
